What a fun opening. It is great to be part of an exhibition of kindred spirits: Joan Painter Jones, Karen Gallup, Mike Sivak, Julie Renfroe, Paula Doe, Alvey Jones and Cre Fuller. Frequently my work seems to be isolated in exhibitions that are primarily composed of paintings and drawings. Walking around this show I could almost hear these pieces talking to each other. The Riverside’s ample exhibition space also adds to the pleasure of viewing this work.
