Back to Blogging

March?  Can’t believe that is last time I blogged.  I know that is no way to develop a loyal following.

Much has happened since then.  I’ll start by posting photo’s of two pieces that were in an exhibit at the University of Michigan Duderstadt Gallery in May. They are part of a travelling exhibit that will open at the River’s Edge Gallery in September 2010.

“Will Build to Suit” Exhibition

What a fun opening.  It is great to be part of an exhibition of kindred spirits: Joan Painter Jones, Karen Gallup, Mike Sivak, Julie Renfroe, Paula Doe, Alvey Jones and  Cre Fuller.  Frequently my work seems to be isolated  in exhibitions that are primarily composed of paintings and drawings.   Walking around this show I could almost hear these pieces talking to each other.  The Riverside’s ample exhibition space also adds to the pleasure of viewing this work.
